Job description

Job Location:

Corporate Indianapolis
The intern will assist the QA Manager from the IS Project Delivery Team to provide solution (software) testing services for one or more major software implementation projects. The intern will support test planning, execution, and defect resolution processes. The intern will learn multiple software tools and will use this knowledge to accelerate test case creation and execution and to facilitate resolution to issues discovered.

RESPONSIBILTIES:

  • Perform software testing

  • Create and update test cases

  • Triage and manage defects and facilitate defect review meetings

  • Troubleshoot issues

  • Collaborate with IS and Business colleagues on how to test functional requirements, evaluate and resolve issues

  • Assist with task-level planning of test phases

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior experience in a professional setting - medium to large company corporate environment

  • On-site office experience

  • Demonstrated skills or experience with Microsoft Office

  • Prefer skills and experience with analytical activities and tools, e.g., data analysis in MS Excel workbooks

  • Prefer experience using a business application other than Microsoft Office
