Manage the overall success of the project by ensuring that core machinery, custom machinery, and aftermarket sales are delivered and commissioned on-time, within scope, and within budget throughout the lifecycle of the project achieving customer satisfaction


PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Project Planning and Execution:

· Clearly outline the project objectives, deliverables and requirements, and refine Order Confirmation with customer as needed for an unambiguous scope of work for the core machinery, custom machinery, or aftermarket sale’s technical requirements.

· Manage the overall success of the project by ensuring that core machinery, custom machinery, and aftermarket sales are delivered and commissioned on-time, within scope and within budget by developing a detailed project plan with phase gating to manage and track the project schedule, cost, and scope throughout the lifecycle of the project.

· Travel (up to 20%) to customer sites to support complex project scoping and installation.

· Resource Management:

· Coordinate and influence cross-functional teams including Engineering, Assembly, Supply Chain, and Sales/Service.

· Risk Mitigation:

· Develop and maintain a risk register to ensure the risks are highlighted early with the project and create an appropriate and collaborative mitigation plan to address the risk.

· Proactively identify and resolve issues. Manage changes in scope, schedule and costs and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project. Report and escalate to executive management as needed.

· Stakeholder Communication and Management:

· Identify and engage with project stakeholders (both internally and externally), ensuring their needs and expectations are met.

· Develop and implement a customer-focused and tuned communication plan to keep stakeholders informed of project progress.

· Prepare and deliver regular status reports, highlighting project progress, risks, and issues for executive management and stakeholders.

· Project Documentation and Compliance:

· Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. Ensure all project information is appropriately documented, shared, and secured. Conduct project post-mortems as necessary and create recommendation reports in order to identify best practices and lessons learned.

Requirements:

REQUIRED SKILLS:

· Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage customers and internal teams effectively. Capable of working on concurrent projects and able to communicate clearly and effectively to drive successful outcomes.

· Problem-Solving: Ability to anticipate issues and develop and implement effective solutions.

· Time Management, Organization abilities: Innate capability to create order out of chaos in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, fluid environment with ever-changing priorities. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, deadlines and priorities.

· Technical Knowledge: Understanding of equipment manufacturing processes, materials and technologies.

· Client Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal, conflict management, and negotiation skills required, with the ability to support client-facing activities as needed, including project reviews, milestone updates, and issue resolution.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

· B.A. in Business, Operations, or technical related discipline preferred, 8 years’ experience in a professional environment can be substituted for a degree.

· 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or similar hands-on production environment preferred.

· Machine manufacture and build experience a plus.

· Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
