Your future role on our team

We are seeking an accomplished bilingual MaterialsManagement Professional to oversee comprehensive materials management functionsas part of large-scale industrial projects. If selected, you will play apivotal role in aligning storage and material handling strategies anddocumentation with multiple types of project execution, such as EPCM and EPC. You'lluse your extensive expertise in site logistics, warehousing, inventory controland material issuance to ensure that the right materials are available in theright place, at the right time to support seamless construction execution.

You will also be responsible for developing documentation,execution strategies and site-specific material management procedures, ensuringa robust and scalable framework from early works through to project completion.

Warehouse and logistics management

  • Establish and oversee the setup, staffing and daily operations of warehouses, laydown yards and storage areas, in accordance with project and HSE guidelines
  • Implement a logistics strategy and material handling instructions

Development of execution procedures and documentation

  • Lead the development of all material management plans, SOPs, forms and site execution strategies
  • Coordinate procedures to align with project controls, client specifications and project execution requirements
  • Maintain structured document control and versioning systems

Receiving, inspection and QA/QC interface

  • Oversee receiving processes, including checking materials against purchase orders and packing lists
  • Coordinate closely with the QA/QC team to ensure all incoming materials are:
  • Inspected to the appropriate quality standards
  • Accompanied by the required documentation (e.g., MTRs, CoCs, QA/QC checklists)
  • Properly quarantined or rejected if non-compliant
  • Support material traceability requirements and maintain inspection and release records in line with project quality systems

Inventory control and reporting

  • Implement and maintain real-time inventory using systems such as SAP, SmartPlant, or equivalent
  • Ensure full traceability of tagged and serialized materials

Material issuance and construction interface

  • Collaborate with planning and construction teams to ensure timely issuance and delivery of materials based on construction lookaheads and schedules

Surplus, returns and reconciliation

  • Manage returns and surplus tracking, ensuring accountability and alignment with QA/QC for reinspection and reuse
  • Prepare detailed reconciliation reports to support project closeout

Compliance and continuous improvement

  • Ensure all warehouse and material handling activities comply with safety, environmental and quality standards
  • Identify and implement process improvements in material management, reporting and QA/QC interfacing
