Project Executive

Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Overview

A leading construction and facilities services organization is seeking a Project Executive to provide strategic leadership and executive oversight for multiple large-scale construction projects in the Phoenix market.

This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, financial performance, safety, and quality across a portfolio of projects. The Project Executive partners closely with clients, internal leadership, and field teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with contractual commitments and long-term business objectives.

This is a high-impact leadership role focused on scaling performance, developing talent, and strengthening client relationships.


Key ResponsibilitiesExecutive Leadership & Team Development
  • Provide strategic direction, coaching, and mentorship to Project Managers and support teams

  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels across assigned projects

  • Lead meaningful performance conversations and support professional development

  • Share technical expertise and elevate overall team capability

Strategic & Operational Planning
  • Develop and execute strategic construction management plans

  • Lead pre-construction and ongoing planning efforts (pull planning, scheduling, value stream mapping, constraint management, etc.)

  • Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives

Financial & Performance Oversight
  • Establish and monitor project budgets and performance goals

  • Lead monthly financial reviews and address cost variances

  • Apply lean construction and process optimization principles to improve outcomes

  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget

Client & Contract Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and trade partners

Quality & Risk Management
