Mesa seeks a Project Engineer whose primary function would to be lead the project technical team to deliver success projects by ensuring that project goals/objectives are achieved, and all business processes and applicable procedures are followed. This person would also plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate detailed phases of engineering/design work for projects, as well as assist the project team with defining/clarifying project scope and level of detail required satisfying customer expectations and projecting requirements. Secondarily, this person would support the project manager with preparing and maintaining the project status reports along with project action item lists, and project change orders.

ย Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to perform broad range of supervisory responsibilities over others.
  • Possess strong verbal and written communications skills. Ability to coordinate with and interface with clients, vendors, engineers, colleagues, and other electric utilities personnel.
  • Possesses strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and work effectively with clients, peers, and affiliates.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, scheduling software and possess working knowledge of corporate accounting practices and business operations.
  • Possess willingness to develop, promote and comply with Mesa safety requirements.

Education/Experience/Licensure:

  • A bachelorโ€™s degree in engineering from an ABET accredited college/university is required.

  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) is required.
