Job Description:

Dynamo Technologies LLC is seeking a System of Systems Architecture Engineer to support the U.S. Army Project Manager Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PM PNT) under the Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) Support Services contract. The selected candidate will provide systems engineering, integration, and architecture support for PM PNT initiatives, including Common Operating Environment (COE), modular open systems architecture (MOSA), and system-of-systems engineering activities across all phases of the acquisition lifecycle. This role will support classified and unclassified efforts related to architecture development, engineering integration, acquisition documentation, stakeholder coordination, and technical strategy development.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

  • Provide subject matter expertise in Electromagnetic Warfare (EW), Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT), and system-of-systems architecture development.

  • Position required to build the architecture for NAVWAR Attack, provide subject matter expertise on EW/SIGINT, and support Acquisition activities

  • Support systems engineering, integration, modeling, simulation, testing, validation, and fielding activities for PM PNT products and initiatives.

  • Develop, review, and maintain engineering, acquisition, architecture, and milestone documentation for classified and unclassified programs.

  • Provide technical recommendations and engineering input to support system design, operational requirements, program constraints, and acquisition objectives.

  • Support modular open systems architecture (MOSA) initiatives and adoption of consensus-based standards to enable rapid technology integration and modernization.

  • Coordinate with PM PNT products, external stakeholders, PEOs, AFC organizations, vendors, and platform partners to support cross-program synchronization and interoperability.

  • Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), working groups, technical reviews, and classified meetings up to the Top-Secret level.

  • Support development and maintenance of program briefings, reporting metrics, knowledge management activities, and collaboration environments.

  • Provide acquisition and engineering support for COE version updates, PNT enterprise architecture initiatives, and milestone decision activities.

  • Assess vendor technical progress and provide recommendations to program leadership regarding technical risks and solutions.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles, system-of-systems architecture, and DoD acquisition lifecycle processes.

  • Experience with modular open systems architecture (MOSA) and consensus-based standards implementation.

  • Ability to develop and review technical, engineering, acquisition, and architecture documentation.

  • Experience supporting systems integration, test and evaluation, hardware/software validation, and platform integration activities.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to brief technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Ability to work effectively across multiple organizations and stakeholder groups.

  • Active Secret clearance required with ability to support Top Secret meetings and activities.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience supporting U.S. Army PM PNT programs or related Army modernization initiatives.

  • Familiarity with Common Operating Environment (COE) initiatives and enterprise architecture development.

  • Experience supporting acquisition milestone reviews and business case analyses.

  • Knowledge of collaboration and knowledge management tools used within DoD environments.

  • Prior experience supporting SETA contracts within a DoD environment.

  • Highly preferred: Expert level experience working with Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) Systems Engineering

  • Highly preferred: Expert level experience with Electronic Warfare (EW)

  • OR other related Army PNT technologies

Education and Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering or systems engineering (or equivalent) with seven (7) years’ experience or a master's degree with five (5) years’ experience in DoW/DoD systems of systems engineering.

Travel Requirement:

  • Travel may be required in support of program meetings, integration events, testing activities, and stakeholder coordination efforts.

Clearance Requirement:

  • Must have a minimum of an active or current Secret security clearance, but preferably a Top-Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
