Your Role at KIK

As Director, Projects, you will lead high-impact strategic initiatives that drive operational excellence, business growth, and customer satisfaction across our manufacturing network. The essence of this role is turning complex opportunities into measurable results by aligning people, processes, and resources to successfully execute critical projects. Partnering across Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Commercial teams, and external stakeholders, you will play a key role in advancing KIK's strategic objectives through disciplined project execution and continuous improvement. Success is measured by your ability to deliver projects on time and within budget, achieve targeted business and operational KPIs, and drive sustainable improvements across the organization.

What You'll Do

  • Identify key projects and develop project KPIs to align to and drive BU goals and objectives.
  • Develop, utilize and evolve project management tools and engineering discipline to define and implement solutions that meet project goals and objectives within budgeted timelines, costs, and resources.
  • Lead key Projects, working closely with Cross-Functional leads to ensure projects are executed on time, on budget while achieving designate KPIs & outcomes. 
  • Research and negotiate with vendors and third-party contractors to vet prospective projects, agree on timelines, draw up agreements and present multi-quote options and solutions to stakeholders.
  • Plan and execute project scope definition, process flow, and improvements across the full network in alignment with Cross Functional Leads.
  • Participate in cross-facility initiatives and expand network to determine company-wide best practices and improvement of business processes.
  • Act as Point of Contact on Key Projects with our Retail partners.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives using performance/OEE metrics, downtime data and material yield variances to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Lead, or coordinate other Project stakeholders in the execution of projects.
  • Organizational role in customer EHS, Social and Quality audit process, partnering with 
  • Forge relationships with business partners throughout the site and organization. Communicate well and clearly, taking the time to understand all processes. Lead project update meetings, ensuring key stakeholders are updated and engaged throughout the lifecycle of a project.

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in Project Management and / or Sales Leadership Roles.  
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • PMP or PE Certification is preferred.
  • Applies extensive project principles and has full knowledge of functional area.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of more advanced systematic and creative problem-solving tools.
  • Effective Communications Skills (verbally, written, presentation).
  • Collaborates effectively with plant engineering, maintenance, and leadership.
  • Able to rapidly acquire knowledge of the site(s) including chemical processes and physical layout.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, Excel, and e-mail
  • Proven track record of driving continuous improvements through sustainable processes.
  • Experience utilizing AutoCAD or similar design software
  • Project management and time management experience with a record of success
  • Packaging process knowledge a definite plus
  • Job requires around 25-35% travel including the need of a Driver's license and Passport.
