A Project Development Intern supports project managers and teams in planning, organizing, and executing projects within an organization. Their responsibilities often include conducting research, preparing reports, assisting with project documentation, and helping to coordinate meetings or schedules. This role provides hands-on experience in project management processes and tools, allowing interns to develop valuable skills in communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. The specific tasks may vary depending on the industry and the company's needs.

Interns often attend team meetings, track project progress, and contribute to brainstorming sessions. This hands-on involvement provides a broad understanding of project lifecycles and offers opportunities to develop both technical and soft skills.

  • Support additional development, marketing, and community outreach projects as assigned.

What You'll Gain:

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Dependable, professional, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications and willing to learn donor databases, fundraising platforms, and other development-related tools.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to supporting BHcare's mission and values.
  • Previous experience in customer service, volunteer work, fundraising, marketing, event coordination, community outreach, or administrative support is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling donor and organizational information.
