About this Role:
Consertus is seeking a detail-oriented Project Assistant based out of Seattle, WA to support construction management teams on large-scale aviation infrastructure projects. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient project controls, accurate documentation, and seamless coordination across stakeholders.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and brings strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills to support project execution from initiation through close-out.
Key Responsibilities:
Document & Contract Management
  • Maintain and manage the Contract Management System (CMS) for project documentation and workflows
  • Track, file, and archive project records in compliance with project standards and systems

Submittals & Project Controls Support
  • Review and process contractor submittals for compliance and coordinate stakeholder responses
  • Maintain tracking logs for RFIs, submittals, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and other key project metrics

Meetings & Coordination
  • Support project meetings by organizing logistics, preparing materials, and capturing meeting minutes
  • Coordinate communication between project stakeholders including client teams, contractors, and internal teams

Financial & Change Management Support
  • Assist with cost documentation, change orders, and pay applications
  • Track and support payment processes and financial reporting activities

Construction Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain construction logs, photographs, correspondence, and reporting documentation
  • Assist with preparation of construction bulletins, field directives, and project updates โ€ข

Close-Out & Record Management
  • Support project close-out and archiving of all electronic and physical project records
  • Maintain as-built documentation and redlined drawings throughout the project lifecycle

General Project Support
  • Provide administrative and coordination support to the construction management team
  • Assist with plans and specifications review for constructability and coordination feedback

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred)
  • 3-7 years of experience supporting construction or infrastructure projects (aviation experience a plus)
  • Familiarity with document control systems or project management platforms (CMS, Procore, etc.)
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); reporting tools a plus

Working Hours: Full-time; on-site
Compensation Range
  • Salary Range: $75,000-$90,000 annually; compensation is based on experience, education and location
