Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Civil Engineering Designer and Project Manager, located in Panama City, FL. The Project Manager will oversee civil engineering projects, collaborating with teams to ensure timely and efficient project delivery. Responsibilities include managing project schedules and budgets, coordinating with contractors, agencies and stakeholders, conducting inspections to ensure compliance, expediting project processes, and managing logistics throughout project lifecycles. Additionally, at times the role will require Conceptual Site Design and Stormwater BMP Design. This position requires a balance of technical expertise, communication skills, and organizational ability.

Qualifications

  • Proven skills in Project Management, including planning, execution, and overseeing multiple projects efficiently
  • Proficiency in Civil Engineering design applications such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and Stormwise are necessary
  • Experience in Expediting and Expeditor roles to ensure project timelines are met
  • Expertise in conducting inspections to ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards
  • Knowledge and experience in Logistics Management to optimize supply chains and resource distribution
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with clients and team members
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Engineer-In-Training (EIT), and/or Professional Engineer (PE) licenses are a plus but not necessary
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools is highly desirable

Familiarity with local and federal regulations governing civil engineering projects
