How do project coordinators and project managers typically collaborate within a project team?

Project Coordinators and Project Managers work closely together to ensure projects run smoothly and meet deadlines. While the Project Manager is responsible for overall project planning, decision-making, and stakeholder communication, the Project Coordinator typically handles day-to-day logistics, schedules meetings, tracks progress, and manages documentation. Project managers typically have more responsibility, authority, and require certifications like PMP, whereas coordinators focus on supporting the project team and maintaining documentation.

Is a project coordinator a high paying job?

A project coordinator's salary varies by industry, location, and experience, but generally it is considered an entry- to mid-level position with moderate pay. It is typically lower than project manager roles, which tend to have higher salaries due to increased responsibilities and required skills such as scheduling and stakeholder communication.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a project coordinator or project manager, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Project Coordinator or Project Manager, you need strong organizational skills, project management knowledge, and typically a relevant degree or certification such as PMP or CAPM.
