Position Overview
The Intern will be responsible of supporting the day-to-day administrative functions within your department.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Performs assignments to carry out construction engineering tasks. Assignments are designed to further develop judgment and understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities
  • Assists Project Management, Superintendents, Estimators, and Office Staff in all areas of Construction administrative related duties
  • Assists in documentation related to daily activities and all construction related documents and not limited to RFI's, Submittals, and Contract Change orders
  • Works under supervision of a project manager, Office Manager, and or senior-level team member
  • Creates and maintains centralized files for project records (including digital)
  • Attends and takes minutes for the development team as requested
  • Helps in the preparation of reports, including monthly development reports
  • Supports and enforces Quality and Safety plans and procedures, assures conformance to company guidelines and practices
  • Contacts and coordinates with Suppliers and Subcontractors
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Proven time management and follow-through skills with the ability to work on multiple tasks with tight deadlines

Education and/or Experience
  • Pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Business Management or Civil Engineering program, and or has bachelor's degree in related field
  • Intern experience/coursework in construction projects high volume environment
  • Experience with Microsoft software such as Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook, Microsoft Project

Salary Range
