The Team

Our Infrastructure and Capital Projects practice is comprised of over 600 sector experts and specialized consultants across the Globe. We combine strategic and operational expertise with a deep technical knowledge to support developers, sponsors, lenders, and projects leader to select, structure, improve and execute Capital Projects in a more efficient and sustainable way.

We are expanding our Infrastructure & Capital Projects business and are searching for staff to support and be part of our Infra PMO in Canada.

How you will contribute

  • Provide leadership in the delivery of project controls services, ensuring high-quality execution across schedule management, cost controls, forecasting, and project performance monitoring for complex capital projects.

  • Apply deep expertise in schedule analysis, earned value management (EVM), cost tracking, and risk analysis to support A&M’s Infrastructure & Capital Projects (I&CP) engagements.

  • Deliver clear, data-driven presentations and project performance insights to Directors, C-suite executives, and project sponsors to support strategic decision-making and project recovery initiatives.

  • Support the preparation of technical proposals and client deliverables, articulating A&M’s project controls capabilities across capital project advisory, disputes, and project turnaround engagements.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and client stakeholders across engineering, construction, finance, and project leadership functions to improve project transparency and operational performance.

  • Facilitate alignment across project leadership, contractors, and stakeholders by translating schedule, cost, and risk insights into actionable recommendations.

  • Lead project review meetings and executive briefings with both client and A&M leadership, demonstrating strong command of schedule delays, cost variances, forecasting trends, and risk mitigation strategies.

  • Proactively identify schedule slippage, cost overruns, and execution risks, anticipating corrective actions necessary to maintain project objectives and drive successful outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or Finance.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in project controls for capital projects.

  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, cost control software, and risk analysis tools.

  • Strong leadership and analytical skills.

  • Experience with financial forecasting and risk mitigation strategies.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple project priorities.
