Job description

Assistant Project Coordinator is responsible for assigned clerical tasks performed to support the estimate and scope of work for RESIDENTIAL remodel/build projects to efficiently move the project from start to finish. The role was created to assist the estimator internally and externally to present a complete cost estimate and move it into production. Hours will vary (between 8-4:30). This is an office position as needed.

  • Ability to interpret required scopes of work

  • Ability to read blueprints and do material take-off’s

  • Send out specs for estimate to suppliers and subs which are clear and complete in detail and answer questions they may have

  • Coordination with suppliers, subcontractors the return of their estimates

  • Coordinate and follow through with selections with customers

  • Proactively identify and mitigate potential projects risks and delays.

  • Maintain organized digital project files

  • Assist in compiling preconstruction job binder

  • Work with field to ensure they are supplied with all necessary details

  • Must be well versed in residential construction

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel. Chief Architect is a huge plus.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work independently and hit the ground running.

  • Professional demeanor with a commitment to integrity, dependability, and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and advanced problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to recognize and complete tasks on a priority scale.
