About the role: The Project Specialist is a full-time, long-term contract role. It offers a core schedule of a 4-day work week, 3 day weekend. It will report to our client's supervisor and is onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Project Document Library
  • Maintain Project Management Plans
  • Organize and analyze Project Data
  • Update Project Status Reports
  • Communicate with Vendors, team members and stakeholders
  • Help manage Risk and Operating Experience
  • Help with the preparation and maintenance of Work Breakdown Structures
  • Support the preparation and maintenance of project schedules
  • Participate in and occasionally lead Project Meetings
  • Help with the preparation and maintenance of cost estimates
  • Track project status for actions, documents, implementation.
  • Prepare for project audits
  • Follow the project process flows and complete or arrange for completing, predecessor and successor tasks.
  • Meet a schedule of deadlines while still maintaining a high quality of work
  • Ensure the project plans and management documents are prepared, approved, communicated, and maintained

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in a technical or business field or vocational school such as electronics. Without a degree, must have 2 or more years of experience in project management processes or nuclear experience.
  • Communicate both verbal and written
  • Knowledgeable of client's project management processes including knowledge of the PMI-PMBOK and INPO 09-002 Excellence in Nuclear Project Management, desired but not required.
  • Be able to pass criminal background, drug/alcohol screen (including medical and recreational marijuana and CBD oil), and employment testing.
  • Local to the area, no relocation or per diem offered
