The Team
A&M's Infrastructure & Capital Projects (INFRA) practice is a global team of over 1,000 sector experts and specialized consultants. We combine strategic and operational expertise with deep technical knowledge to support developers, sponsors, lenders, and project leaders in selecting, structuring, improving, and executing capital projects more efficiently and sustainably.
Our team serves clients across a wide range of industries, including energy, manufacturing, mining, transportation, real estate, and the public sector (state, local, federal, and education). Within the public sector, we specialize in delivering solutions across four key areas of infrastructure: capital projects, real estate/real property, capital assets/equipment, and fleet management.
We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our INFRA practice, with a specific focus on serving Public Sector Services (PSS) clients. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects that address critical infrastructure challenges, improve operational efficiency, and deliver value to public sector stakeholders.
How you will contribute
  • Client Support: Assist in advising clients on strategic and operational aspects of infrastructure, including portfolio optimization, workplace strategy, facilities management, and lifecycle management of capital assets and fleet.
  • Project Delivery: Support project teams in delivering high-quality work, including data analysis, research, and preparation of client deliverables such as reports, presentations, and recommendations.
  • Engagement Contribution: Contribute to client engagements by managing assigned tasks, tracking progress, and ensuring deliverables meet client expectations.
  • Technology Integration: Leverage tools such as AI, automation, and advanced analytics to support project delivery and enhance client outcomes.
  • Data Analysis: Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and develop actionable insights for clients.
  • Problem Solving: Collaborate with team members to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable recommendations for clients.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to support resource management, pipeline tracking, invoicing, and other project-level administrative tasks.

Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Construction, Construction Management, Real Estate, Finance, Engineering, or Business. Advanced degrees in related fields are a plus but not required.
Experience
  • 2-5 years of experience in construction, construction management, capital projects, corporate real estate, management consulting, or workplace consulting.
  • Experience in supporting the delivery of capital projects, including planning, design, procurement, construction, and operations.
  • Familiarity with construction project lifecycle management, including feasibility studies, cost estimation, and risk management.
  • Knowledge of corporate real estate operating models and infrastructure portfolio management is a plus.
  • Exposure to construction contracts and delivery methods, such as Design-Build, CMAR (Construction Manager at Risk), and Public-Private Partnerships (P3), is preferred.
Security Clearance
  • Candidate must either possess an active security clearance or have the ability to obtain one, as required for working with clients.

The salary range is $100,000 - $125,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography.
