Job Description
Opening for Project Associate is on a term-limited employment basis. Defined employment term: July 1, 2026 - December 31, 2026
The Project Associate (PA) will be primarily responsible for providing support for CRDF Global exchange programs. Using project management best practices, the PA supports project teams with the technical, financial, and administrative aspects of professional exchange programs to support implementation in a manner consistent with CRDF Global and funder objectives. The PA will also support additional division projects as necessary.
This position is based in CRDF Global's Arlington, VA office on a hybrid basis, with an in-office expectation of 3 days per week.
Major Responsibilities:
  • Supports planning and organizational tasks for in-person, hybrid and virtual exchanges and other events such as workshops and conferences, as assigned.
  • Contributes to project plans using best practices for project management including work breakdown structures (WBS), statements of work, schedules, deliverables, monitoring and evaluation plans.
  • Drafts communication, project documents, financial materials, and deliverables for assigned projects.
  • Oversees document and information management to ensure records and databases, including electronic and physical files, are current and complete.
  • Maintains professional correspondence in person and electronically with customers and other stakeholders regularly, escalating communication as required.
  • Contributes to division growth and proposal development efforts.
  • May travel within the US and internationally.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • College degree or relevant experience required
  • 1+ years of work experience in a related field
  • Exceptional organizational skills/attention to detail
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities
  • Effective written and oral communication skills, including the ability to interact with a wide range of individuals from varied backgrounds
  • U.S. work authorization

Preferred:
  • Experience working with USG
  • Project management interest and experience

The base pay range for this position is $48,000 to $58,000 The determination of salaries in this job classification depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, relevant candidate experience, job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills. In addition, we have a comprehensive benefits package and paid time off.
