Job description

Purpose Of Position Provide administrative support for Airport Staff. Provide support and direction to staff members and citizens. Essential Functions Open, sort, and route incoming mail.

Prepare payroll and personnel forms. Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Petty cash. Enter all receipt batches into the appropriate software and prepare bank deposits.

Manage security badge control, along with other Trusted Agent responsibilities. Manage office supplies & janitorial supplies. Backup for the Project Coordinator for the Airport Advisory Board process.

Backup for Project Coordinator with statistical reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Process Helicopter permits OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS: Assist in maintaining and preparing tenant leases and contracts Assist in preparing Airport Advisory Board communications, Half Cent Sales Tax Board, and City Council communications. Backup for maintaining the airport website.

Assist with the preparation of the annual budget. Assist with managing cash receipts from the parking system. Performs other related duties as assigned.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: Must be able to complete the Trusted Agent certification within 60 days of employment. Must be able to pass a 10-year criminal history check (per FAA guidelines). Must possess extensive knowledge of administrative duties and be able to handle a variety of interruptions while continuing to follow through with project or routine assignments.

Must have a comprehensive knowledge of modern office methods, practices, and procedures. Must have experience and extensive knowledge of PDF software, Office, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint. Must be able to prioritize and move from one project to another as needed.

Must be able to work independently. Must be able to properly handle confidential information. Must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others and the ability to exercise independent judgment and make sound decisions Must be able to sit 7 hours daily; twist 2 hours daily; stand 1 hour daily; bend, stoop, turn, and walk 30 minutes daily; lift, carry, push, and pull up to 10 lbs.
