Job DescriptionOverview

The Project Engineer/Project Coordinator supports the execution and coordination of engineering activities within the project, ensuring that deliverables, interfaces, and technical information flow efficiently across disciplines and project functions.

The role contributes to day-to-day project and engineering coordination, working under the direction of the Project Manager and in close collaboration with the Engineering Manager, Procurement, and Project Controls.

Your role
  • Assist in coordinating engineering activities across disciplines.

  • Follow up on deliverables to ensure alignment with project schedule.

  • Track progress and highlight delays or missing inputs.

  • Support resolution of day-to-day coordination issues.

  • Maintain and update engineering deliverables registers.

  • Monitor status of: Drawings; Specifications; Data sheets; Equipment lists.

  • Ensure timely circulation, review, and issuance of deliverables.

  • Follow up on comments and ensure closure.

  • Support coordination between: Engineering disciplines; Engineering and Procurement; Engineering and Construction.

  • Track interface requirements and ensure required inputs are available.

  • Escalate interface gaps or inconsistencies.

  • Assist in preparing and compiling technical input packages (RFI/RFP).

  • Follow up on technical documentation required for procurement.

  • Track vendor data submission and review status.

  • Support coordination of technical clarifications through Procurement.

  • Assist in coordinating engineering responses to site queries.

  • Track technical queries (RFIs) and ensure timely responses.

  • Support alignment of engineering deliverables with construction needs.

  • Prepare inputs for:Weekly coordination meetings.

  • Engineering progress updates.

  • Maintain logs of: Action items; Deliverables status; Outstanding issues.

  • Identify and communicate: Execution issues; Potential risks related to engineering deliverables or interfaces.

  • Support updates to risk and issue logs under guidance of PM / Risk Manager.

  • Ensure engineering documentation is managed in accordance with project procedures.

  • Support document control processes and traceability.

  • Assist in coordinating interdisciplinary reviews.

About you
  • 3-8 years (Project Engineer)/1-5 years (Project Coordinator) of experience in engineering or project environments.

  • Exposure to multidisciplinary engineering projects (industrial, infrastructure, or energy preferred).

  • Basic understanding of engineering project workflows.

  • Familiarity with project documentation and deliverables tracking.

  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary and matrix environment.

  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.
