This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
Specialized Experience GS-13: One year of specialized experience which includes: Serve as a technical lead or project manager for one or more civil works, interagency, intragovernmental, or military construction projects; Assist in the planning and oversight of cost and schedule execution of the planning, design, and/or construction of project in coordination with other functional elements; Monitor project performance and report on the status of project against established milestones and objectives to assure the attainment of goals and objectives; AND lead the development and implementation of Project Management Plans (PMP).
