1. POSITION SUMMARY

The Global IT team at Lectra is looking for a motivated and collaborative IT Project Manager to support the delivery of technology initiatives that enhance business operations and drive continuous improvement across the organization. Based in our Tolland office, this role will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to plan, coordinate, and deliver projects that support the growth and evolution of our enterprise platforms. The position offers an excellent opportunity for a project management professional to develop leadership skills while managing a variety of local and global initiatives.

The IT Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating project activities, tracking milestones, managing project documentation, developing KPIs and metrics, supporting resource planning, and ensuring clear communication among stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

2. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinate project activities and serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external technology partners to ensure project objectives are successfully achieved.
  • Support the planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects, ensuring milestones, deliverables, and timelines are tracked and communicated effectively.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams to drive alignment, resolve issues, and maintain project momentum.
  • Assist in gathering, documenting, and managing business and technical requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain project plans, schedules, status reports, risk logs, and other project documentation to ensure transparency and accuracy for stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and dependencies, and elevate issues appropriately to support successful project delivery.
  • Partner with project teams to coordinate testing activities, validate requirements, and ensure solutions meet business needs and quality standards.
  • Support resource planning, prioritization activities, and workload coordination across multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Prepare and present project updates, meeting materials, KPIs, and performance metrics to project teams and stakeholders.
  • Assist with change management activities, including stakeholder communications, training coordination, and user adoption efforts.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to support issue resolution and coordinate project-related troubleshooting when needed.
  • Track project budgets, timelines, and deliverables to help ensure projects are completed within scope and according to plan.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance project processes, reporting, and operational effectiveness.

3. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2–4 years of experience in project coordination, project management, business systems, IT operations, or a related technology role
  • Experience supporting technology projects involving business applications, system implementations, process improvements, or operational initiatives
  • Exposure to ERP platforms such as SAP, Infor, Oracle, or other enterprise applications is preferred
  • Experience participating in ERP implementations, business process improvement initiatives, or other cross-functional technology projects
  • Working knowledge of Agile, Scrum project delivery methodologies
  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools, including Jira and Microsoft Office 365 applications
  • Experience developing project dashboards, reports, KPIs, and metrics using tools such as Power BI, SAP BW, Excel, or similar business intelligence platforms is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple priorities, manage project documentation, and support project governance activities
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across business and technical teams
  • Experience facilitating meetings, tracking action items, managing risks and dependencies, and communicating project status to stakeholders
  • Ability to analyze information, solve problems, and identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Experience supporting IT projects within manufacturing, operations, finance, supply chain, or customer service functions
  • Exposure to global project teams and multicultural business environments
  • Familiarity with change management, user adoption, training coordination, and business readiness activities
  • Experience working with system integrations, data migrations, or digital transformation initiatives
