Position Summary
Position Title Project NePTWNE (CLEER) student assistants Posting Number Division Provost & VP for Student Experience Department Provost & Student Experience (AA) Location Erie, Pa Position Summary
Seeking students to serve as docents in the Center for Lake Erie Education and Research (CLEER) housed within the Blasco Library, along Erie's waterfront:
- Welcome visitors to the open and accessible center space
- Assist visitors with the proper use of interactive exhibit technology within the center
- Clean touch screens and other exhibit items when not otherwise engaged or as appropriate
- Communicate, listen, and share thoughts and ideas with visitors based upon interactive exhibits

Preferred Qualifications
Successful candidates must be willing to work flexible weekday and weekend shifts, including evening hours, as part of the CLEER team. Multi-lingual is preferred.
Physical Demands
This position requires minimal physical demands, but applicants should be able to safely lift 25 pounds and sit and/or stand for extended periods of time; be able to work in a busy environment.
