Job description

Midsized Manhattan based Construction Company is looking for a Construction Assistant Superintendent (AS). A minimum of 4+ years of construction related experience as a Construction Assistant Superintendent or similar.
The AS reports to the Director of Construction and/or Project Executive and schedules, coordinates, plans and help supervise all field operations on a project. The AS is responsible to direct and supervise subcontractors to assure the requirements of the project are met with respect to safety, schedule, quality control, cost control and customer satisfaction. Overall, the AS is expected to provide construction management and general contracting services that meets the highest level of quality.
Skills Should Include:
  • Be a licensed NYC-DOB Construction Superintendent (preferred but not requirement).
  • Managing site activity.
  • Labor relations.
  • Anticipating and resolving field related issues.
  • Establishing and enforcing site schedule requirements.
  • Managing site safety and insurance risks.
  • Ability to communicate both written and oral.
  • Must have a complete knowledge of all safety regulations, and see that all are properly enforced.
  • Procore Proficient.
