Job description

The Position:

Summit Search Group has been retained by EH Price on the recruitment of their next Project Manager in the Mechanical Division. As a Project Manager within our Mechanical Division, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team, responsible for supporting outside sales representatives and contributing to the successful execution of HVAC projects. Whether working independently or as part of a project management group, your role will be critical in ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality service delivery to their valued customers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all phases of assigned HVAC projects, from initial quotation to final delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Provide day-to-day support to outside sales representatives, including preparing quotes, reviewing tenders, and assisting with technical documentation.
  • Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, and in-person visits, offering prompt, accurate, and professional service throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage and track construction tenders via the Winnipeg Construction Association (WCA), complete equipment take-offs, and enter project data into the internal Rep Edge system.
  • Issue purchase orders, coordinate equipment releases with manufacturers, and attend supplier training sessions as needed (may include occasional travel).
  • Participate in divisional meetings and support team-led initiatives, including customer events such as open houses, site visits, and industry functions.


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience in inside sales, project management, or customer service management.
  • Possession of one of the following designations: EIT, P. Eng, C.E.T, or M.E.T
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings and mechanical systems; previous experience with HVAC mechanical equipment is a strong asset.
