Project Architect / Project Manager
Our Chapel Hill office is looking for a highly motivated, Project Architect/Project Manager, with excellent design and communication skills. The ideal candidate will be someone who can work well with people at all levels of the firm and will take the initiative to research, design and implement complex institutional and/or housing amp; mixed-use projects.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Background/Education
  • Professional (NAAB Accredited) Degree in Architecture / Licensed Architect preferred (or in progress)
  • Must have 10+ years of experience working on/managing projects in an architectural design firm
  • Multi-family housing Experience beneficial
  • Higher Education Experience preferred
Knowledge and Skillset Required
  • Strong Revit and production skills
  • Interest in leadership and ability to develop project management skills.
  • Interest in building and nurturing client relationships.
  • Graphic communication skills to support a variety of presentation media: presentation drawings, marketing materials, feasibility studies, etc. proficiency in Sketchup, Enscape, Photoshop, Illustrator and/or InDesign
  • Skilled in analytical thinking to support the design process
  • Self-motivated individual able to work well in a collaborative office environment
  • Good computer skills and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Creative suite.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, deadlines and interact effectively with others in the workplace.
