Job description

Donohue & Associates, a preferred provider of water and wastewater engineering services, is seeking a Project Delivery Coordinator to support the successful delivery of water, wastewater, stormwater, and related infrastructure projects.
In this role you'll partner with project managers, construction managers/administrators, senior managers, and project teams to keep projects organized, on schedule, and moving forward, from planning through construction and project closeout. You will coordinate project delivery activities, support construction phase services, maintain project documentation, and help implement efficient processes that allow project teams to deliver successful projects. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in project management and/or construction support. This position is open to any Donohue office location.
Responsibilities
  • Provide project administration and coordination support to multiple project and construction managers/administrators to facilitate successful project delivery.
  • Support engineering services during construction by managing project documentation, including RFIs, shop drawing submittals, change orders, pay applications, meeting agendas and minutes, closeout documentation, and project correspondence using internal and external construction management tools.
  • Coordinate project meetings, maintain action item logs, and monitor project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Assist with project setup, contract administration, invoicing, budget and schedule tracking, earned value analysis, and project reporting.
  • Maintain organized project files and document control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate communication among clients, contractors, subconsultants, and multi-disciplinary project teams.
  • Assist with continuous improvement of project delivery processes.
  • Provide administrative and coordination support to senior management as requested.

Minimum Requirements
  • Associate's degree in engineering technology, construction management, project management, business administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting engineering or construction projects. Experience supporting water/wastewater projects or complex construction is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy while managing multiple priorities.
  • Ability to adapt to changes throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with a collaborative, client-focused approach.
  • Experience with project, construction administration, accounting, or data management platforms (e.g., eComm, ProCore, Quest, Bluebeam, Wrike, SharePoint, Deltek Vantagepoint, Adobe AcroPlot or Pro).
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

An employee-owned engineering consulting firm since 1997, Donohue & Associates has multiple offices across the upper Midwest. We work in multi-discipline teams to provide municipal and industrial clients with client-focused services for drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure. Engineering News-Record ranks Donohue among the Top 25 Wastewater Treatment Plant Design Firms, and our innovative design teams consistently receive awards for engineering excellence.

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Robust 401(k) plan with company contribution
  • Paid time off and company holidays
  • Flexible work schedules around core hours
  • Short- and long-term disability/life insurance
  • Flexible spending accounts (FSAs)
  • Professional organization support
  • Discretionary annual bonuses
  • Industry-unique monthly profit-sharing plan

For candidates in Illinois and Minnesota, the anticipated salary range for this position is $55,000-$85,000. Actual compensation will depend on education, experience, expertise, geographic location, and organizational needs.
