Job description

Joyce Koons Honda Buick GMC, one of the top Northern Virginia dealerships, is seeking Full-time Service Advisors. We are a progressive, customer-focused automotive retailer and service center located in Manassas, Virginia. We are experiencing growth in our service business; therefore, we are looking for candidates at the top of their game with a strong track record.

As Service Advisors, you will be responsible for executing all elements of the Service Lane process from greeting service guests in the lane up to and through quality delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers promptly

  • Obtain customer and vehicle information

  • Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer

  • Determine and recommend maintenance base on age, mileage and history of vehicle

  • Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts

  • Establish follow up time

  • Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently

  • Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order

  • Explain all completed work and charges to customers

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communications skills – written and verbal

  • Attention to Detail

  • Must have prior automotive background experience

  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record;

  • Must pass drug screen and background check
