This position is fully remote, providing flexibility and work-life balance while allowing you to serve clients across Florida. Engaging in an outpatient office setting, you will work with various tools and virtual platforms to assess client needs and conduct therapy sessions securely. As the Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough assessments of clients facing mood disorders to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of their symptoms.
• Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique requirements and goals of each client.
• Employing evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate client progress.
• Providing education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
• Monitoring and documenting client progress meticulously, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on real-time feedback and developments.
• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure integrated and holistic client care.
• Staying current with the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatments to apply best practices effectively.
• Maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in documentation in alignment with legal and ethical standards.
• Participating in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development initiatives.

This role focuses primarily on clients experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will work with individuals from various backgrounds, including vulnerable populations such as the homeless, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence. Your expertise will help these individuals navigate their challenges and empower them towards recovery and improved mental health.

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Possess a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Hold a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, establishing trusting and therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Exhibit empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude towards clients' experiences and struggles.
• Possess strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage caseloads and administrative responsibilities.

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in dealing with mood disorders, trauma-informed care, or a background in similar therapeutic settings will be given preference. Familiarity with case management systems and electronic health records can enhance your application.
