Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop customized treatment plans tailored to the needs of each client.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, creating a safe environment for open dialogue and healing.
• Actively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated and comprehensive care to clients.
• Maintain precise and up-to-date clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.
• Engage in continuous improvement through participation in workshops and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Horizon Healthcare Solutions, you will work with a diverse range of clients requiring tailored mental health support. This includes adults, children, and families facing various mental health challenges, particularly those who may struggle to access services elsewhere. You will play a key role in breaking down barriers to mental health care, providing compassionate and comprehensive support to enhance client outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Possession of an active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Tennessee.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in counseling environments is essential.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele.
• Demonstrated capability of working collaboratively within a healthcare team to provide holistic support.
• Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and relevant technologies is required.

Preferred Experience

• Experience specializing in family therapy, couples therapy, substance abuse counseling, or trauma-informed care is highly preferred.
• A solid understanding of legal and ethical standards of practice in mental health care.

Compensation and Benefits
