Join us as a Senior Field Marketing Specialist and help us do what we do best: propelling business forward.   This will be a hybrid role working between your home office and either our Burlington MA headquarters or our Raleigh NC office.  Candidates must be local to one of those locations at time of application to be considered.
     
    Progress Software is seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Field Marketing Specialist, Senior to join our North American Field and Channel Marketing team. In this role, you will manage and execute integrated marketing programs and events that drive lead generation, pipeline growth, and revenue across the North American sales region.
     
    You will partner closely with field sales, SDRs, and partner teams to align marketing programs with regional priorities, support partner initiatives, and deliver strong customer outcomes. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys turning ideas into execution, and is excited to take on increasing ownership over programs and events.
     
    In this role, you will: 
    • Plan and execute integrated marketing programs across North America for net-new and existing customers, including digital campaigns, events, webinars, and partner co-marketing initiatives.
    • Coordinate campaign, event, partner, and follow-up activities to create a cohesive buyer journey and measurable pipeline impact.
    • Collaborate with sales, campaign leads, product marketing, and corporate marketing to align field programs with regional goals and broader campaign priorities.
    • Work with partner marketing and sales teams to deliver partner-inclusive programs and events that support customer acquisition and pipeline growth.
    • Develop and execute lead generation and pipeline acceleration programs that contribute to lead goals, sales readiness, and revenue growth.
    • Use audience insights, segmentation, messaging, and buyer personas to engage target audiences and improve lead quality.
    • Apply AI tools and platforms to accelerate campaign execution, including generating and optimizing content for nurture streams, emails, landing pages, and follow-up sequences aligned to buyer stage and persona.
    • Partner with sales to develop AI-assisted sales plays and account engagement strategies, including tailored outreach messaging, event follow-up templates, and opportunity acceleration content.
    • Use AI to analyze engagement signals and campaign performance data to recommend next-best actions for leads, accounts, and programs, improving conversion rates and pipeline velocity.
    • Lead the planning and execution of regional field events, including third-party conferences, hosted events, webinars, and partner events, managing timelines, logistics, vendors, and execution details.
    • Monitor campaign and event performance, analyze KPIs and engagement data, and use AI-driven insights to test and optimize content, targeting, and follow-up strategies to improve ROI, engagement, conversion, and pipeline velocity.
    • Support management of regional field marketing and event budgets and present performance results, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
     
    Your background: 
    • 5+ years of experience in field marketing, integrated demand generation, and event execution, preferably in a B2B software or technology environment.
    • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and adapt to changing business needs.
    • Analytical and results-driven, with the ability to interpret campaign and event performance data and turn insights into action.
    • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively across marketing, sales, and partner teams.
    • Experience with marketing and sales tools such as Salesforce, Asana, Eloqua, and Tableau.
    • Hands-on experience or familiarity with AI-enabled marketing tools to improve productivity, content development, and campaign performance.
    • Comfort experimenting with new technologies and workflows, including prompt development, content iteration, and automation of repeatable marketing tasks.
    • Ability to travel regionally (15–25%) as needed to support field events and sales alignment.
     
    Base Salary Range: $93,500 - $115,500
    This position is also eligible to participate in our commission plan (up to $14,500 at goal). Final base compensation is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, education, demonstrable experience, and allowance for future and continued salary growth.
