Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking aManager Supply Chain Programs 2to join ourGlobal Supply Chain Program Management (GSCPM)organization, overseeing a portfolio of programs within thePlatform Sustainment & Modernization Operating Unit (OU). This is afully onsite role in Lake Charles, LA, offering close engagement with program, manufacturing, and supply chain teams as we support critical sustainment and modernization efforts for our customers.

In this leadership role, you will beresponsible, accountable, and empoweredto drive operational efficiency, strategy, planning, and execution for the Global Supply Chain (GSC) statement of work across your assigned program portfolio. You will report to theOperating Unit Global Supply Chain Program Manager (OU GSC PM)and operate in a fast-paced environment, leadingprocess improvements, tools and metrics, data integration, and cross-functional coordination with key GSC and program stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure all supply chain commitments are met; develop and execute integrated mitigation and opportunity plans to address organizational and programmatic risks and opportunities.

  • Develop material strategies and lead GSC activities through all phases of theBusiness Acquisition Process (BAP).

  • Serve as a GSCPM focal point withResponsibility, Accountability, and Action (RAA)to the Operating Unit, in partnership with theOU GSC PM.

  • Develop and execute GSC strategies in support of program build and sustainment, with a focus onaffordability, operational efficiency, safety, and first-time quality.

  • Ensure accurate integration and management of cost and schedule data in support of theEarned Value Management (EVM)baseline.

  • Leadproposal managementactivities to ensure timely, compliant, and high-quality submittals.

  • Managematerial financialsin support of program portfolio financial and performance goals.

  • Brief senior management on status, risks, and issues affecting cost, schedule, and supply chain performance.

  • Demonstrate self-motivation, proactiveness, strong organization, attention to detail, and highly effective interpersonal and communication skills.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of8 yearsof experience, or Master's degree with a minimum of6 yearsof experience, insupply chain, business management, or a related field

  • Minimum of3 years of experience leading a teamand/or direct people management

  • Experience with generalprocurement and subcontract executionworkflows

  • Experience withmanufacturing and purchasingworkflows.

  • Experience withmaterial receipt forecasting

  • U.S. citizenwith the ability to obtain aU.S. Government Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree inSupply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a technical discipline

  • Experience insupply chain management on a major defense program, and/or management ofdevelopment, production, and maintenance/repair operationsprojects

  • Direct experience interfacing withsenior leadership.

  • SAP/S4/ MES/IMROexperience

  • Experience with FAR/ DFAR

  • Understanding of procurement requirements for USG customers

  • Earned Value Management (EVM)experience

  • Experience executing and managingservice agreements with major suppliers

  • Experience withproposal managementin a program or capture
Primary Level Salary Range: $126,600.00 - $189,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
