About Our Team TikTok's Community Programs Team designs and delivers scaled creator education and engagement initiatives - executing programs that turn platform priorities (high-quality content, key content verticals, safety) into sustained creator behavior. We deliver this programming through a community-lens, honoring and championing diverse creator communities as a core part of how we build trust, relevance, and lasting engagement. We also partner cross-functionally (marketing, legal, comms, finance, entertainment, sports, emerging verticals) to ensure programming drives both creator behavior change and broader platform growth goals and objectives. Role Overview The Creator Community Programs Intern will play a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day operations of our community programs team, with a core focus on the TikTok Creator Community Program. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter who is detail-oriented, curious, and excited about the creator economy, community building, and program operations. The intern will work closely with the Creator Community Programs lead to support research, program logistics, creator engagement, and cross-functional projects that help our programs run smoothly and grow strategically. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys variety in their day-to-day, is comfortable juggling multiple workstreams, and wants exposure to how a global creator platform designs and executes community programming from the ground up. As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis - we encourage you to apply early. Responsibilities - Support curriculum development and execution of the Creator Community Program - Compile and organize creator lists for bespoke opportunities, campaigns, and program invitations - Monitor and track creator engagement in approved program channels, including our community Discord - Manage administrative items to support the program, including creator and vendor payments, invoicing, and tracking grids - Staff offline community building events, as needed - Conduct industry research to support the evolution of the Creator Community Program and strategy, including research into internal AI capabilities and tooling - Partner with data team on regular platform data analysis to inform long-term strategy and creator engagement pivots - Support Community Program social strategy, in alignment with Creator Marketing - Develop cross-functional initiative ideas grounded in current business priorities - Provide general operational and administrative support to the Creator Community Programs team, as needed
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications - Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree - Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets Preferred Qualifications - Strong interest in the creator economy; social media; Diversity, Equity & Inclusion; community building; or entertainment/media industries - Comfortable working with data and spreadsheets to identify trends and insights - Detail-oriented, resourceful, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously - Interest or prior exposure to AI tools and applications - Experience with Discord, community management, or content moderation
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency]Compensation Description (Hourly) - Campus Intern
The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $25- $25.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Interns have day one access to health insurance, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and more. Interns also receive 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in first half of year, 40 if hired in second half of year). Interns who are not working 100% remote may also be eligible for housing allowance.
