Job Details

This role is in support of Cencora's patient and provider support and pharma commercialization services in Canada marketed through our Innomar Strategies business.

This job profile description is a standardized, non-contractual reference description and global reference tool provided for organizational consistency and talent architecture purposes across Cencora. It does not alter actual job duties, responsibilities, reporting lines, working conditions, grading, compensation, or other essential terms and conditions of employment.

Supervises day-to-day pharmacy support and operations to meet productivity, service, and quality targets. Plans team routines, sets daily priorities, removes blockers, and escalates issues within defined guidelines to maintain reliable execution. Ensures adherence to standard operating procedures, compliance requirements, and documented workflows within the unit. Improves operational consistency by implementing small process and tool enhancements validated through simple performance measures.

Responsibilities:


Actual duties and responsibilities may vary based on business needs, local requirements, and operational practices. Where a team member's role is governed by an employment agreement, local terms and conditions, prior job description or collective bargaining agreement, those documents shall prevail in case of any inconsistency. Mandatory local laws shall also prevail.

  • Supervises performance against operating metrics, reassigns tasks, and resolves routine issues to sustain delivery reliability.

  • Ensures adherence to standard operating procedures, regulatory requirements, and quality standards; escalates exceptions per defined thresholds.

  • Maintains compliance with safety, privacy/security, and documentation standards while reinforcing required training and practices.

  • Implements small-scale process and tool improvements using established methods and validates outcomes with defined metrics.

  • Administers people management activities including onboarding, coaching, performance tracking, and documentation in line with organizational practices.

  • Communicates status updates, service expectations, and workflow dependencies to team members and stakeholders.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, life sciences, pharmacy technology, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience required.

Work Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in specialty pharmacy operations, pharmacy support, medication access, reimbursement, fulfillment, or a related healthcare operations environment required.

  • Less than 2 years of experience in a management capacity preferred.

Certifications:

  • Certification in pharmacy technician support, pharmacy operations support, or equivalent preferred.
