Healthcare Partnerships Director

Homewood Health

Calgary, AB

CA$80K - CA$90K/yr

Full-time

Posted 27 days ago

Job description

Make a difference in a growing, innovative mental health organization and centre of excellence in people-centered care. Work with supportive colleagues who are passionate about improving lives and champions for quality and continuous learning.

At Homewood, we partner with healthcare professionals across Canada to support people navigating complex mental health, trauma and substance use challenges. Located in Victoria, BC, Homewood Ravensview is part of Canada’s leading network of mental health and addiction treatment services, delivering evidence-based, physician-led care in a highly specialized setting.

We are looking for a Healthcare Partnerships Director to help strengthen and grow the trusted relationships that connect healthcare professionals, organizations and patients to our programs.

This is not traditional sales.  This is a highly relational, strategic and consultative role focused on building credibility with physicians, psychologists, nurses, therapists, case managers, health systems and other healthcare stakeholders. Success in this role comes from becoming a trusted and knowledgeable partner — someone healthcare professionals feel confident turning to when their patients or members need support.

If you are energized by relationship-building, healthcare engagement, meaningful conversations and the opportunity to help improve access to care, we’d love to hear from you.

As a Healthcare Partnerships Director, you will be an integral part of a collaborative team focused on delivering seamless services and programs to our clients and customers. If you are looking for a company that is constantly moving forward in pursuit of successful outcomes, get ready to love it here!

What you’ll be doing:

  • Build and maintain strong referral relationships with healthcare professionals, healthcare organizations and strategic partners across your territory
  • Become a trusted resource on Homewood Health’s inpatient programs, clinical approaches and referral/admissions pathways
  • Engage referral sources through ongoing outreach, meetings, education, presentations and networking
  • Represent Homewood at conferences, industry events and healthcare meetings across Canada
  • Host onsite visits and facility tours that help partners better understand our programs, care teams and patient experience
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen existing partnerships and develop new referral channels
  • Work collaboratively with clinical, operational and admissions teams to support an exceptional referral and patient experience
  • Navigate sensitive and complex conversations with professionalism, empathy and sound judgment
  • Develop strategic territory and account plans informed by healthcare trends, relationship insights and referral activity
  • Monitor referral trends, partnership activity and market opportunities to support business growth and long-term relationship development
  • Stay informed on trends and developments across mental health, addiction medicine, disability management and healthcare systems in Canada

    What we’re looking for:

    • Experience in healthcare partnerships, business development, account management or relationship-focused sales
    • Ability to build trust and credibility with healthcare professionals and senior stakeholders
    • Strong communication and presentation skills, including comfort speaking with physicians, clinicians, executives and organizational leaders
    • A consultative and relationship-driven approach focused on long-term partnership development rather than transactional sales
    • Understanding of Canadian healthcare systems, mental health services, disability management or healthcare funding environments
    • Experience managing complex relationships and navigating sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion
    • Strong organizational and territory management skills with the ability to work independently and strategically
    • Comfort with travel, networking and maintaining an active external presence
    • Curiosity, emotional intelligence and a genuine interest in supporting access to mental health and addiction care

Homewood Health promotes a fair and competitive compensation model.  Pay rates are tailored to reflect differences in operating environments and job requirements.  Compensation is influenced by many factors including compensation principles or approach for a role or job function, organizational tenure, experience, qualifications or premium skills, external competitiveness, internal comparability, geography and work performance. Pay range for this position is $80,000 - 90,000 salary

    Why work with us

Homewood Health is Canada’s largest and leading service provider for medically focused, evidence-based treatment of mental health and addiction related presentations. Our organizational culture values service excellence, integrity, collaboration and innovation. Our people make a difference!

As an equal opportunity employer, Homewood Health is committed to employment accessibility, diversity, equity and inclusion. For this reason, we encourage applications from members of equity-seeking groups including women, racialized and indigenous communities, persons with disabilities, and persons of all sexual orientations and gender identities/expressions.

Join us at Homewood Health™ and be part of a diverse team helping Canadians live healthier, more productive and fulfilling lives.

This job posting is for an existing vacant position within the organization.
