The Program Director - Nursing Services is responsible for providing clinical and operational leadership for the Addiction Services Program while ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered care. Working closely with the Chief Nursing Officer and interdisciplinary treatment team, the Program Director - Nursing Services oversees nursing practice, program performance, staff development, quality improvement initiatives, regulatory compliance, and patient safety efforts.

  • Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff while fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and clinical excellence.
  • Oversee the delivery of nursing care and ensure compliance with state, federal, Joint Commission, and organizational standards.
  • Serve as a clinical resource to staff by assisting with patient assessments, care planning, and complex clinical situations.
  • Monitor and evaluate program quality, patient outcomes, and performance improvement initiatives, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Investigate patient care concerns, incidents, complaints, and safety events, and communicate findings and recommendations appropriately.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and maintain effective treatment programming and individualized patient care plans.
  • Direct recruitment, hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and professional development activities for nursing staff.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels based on patient acuity, safety considerations, and operational needs.
  • Maintain program schedules, staff competencies, regulatory readiness, and required documentation.
  • Promote a safe, therapeutic environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Your Experience Matters What we’re looking for:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience in a psychiatric or behavioral healthcare setting required.
  • Licensure: Current Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
  • Additional Requirements: Thorough knowledge of Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA, and applicable state and federal regulations. CPR certification required. CPI certification is required within 90 days of employment and prior to participation in restraint procedures.

Compensation:
