Executive Director
ROSC Solutions Group

At ROSC Solutions Group (RSG), we prioritize individuals' well-being and long-term recovery from addiction through a holistic, person-centered approach. Our evidence-based practices empower and foster hope, promoting personal growth. We collaborate with government officials and stakeholders to develop customized strategies grounded in recovery-oriented care principles. We drive positive change in creating pathways of recovery from addiction.
Reporting to the COO, the Executive Director is responsible for the overall leadership, operational excellence, and strategic direction of a residential recovery community operated under ROSC Solutions Group. This role provides executive oversight across clinical collaboration, operations, people leadership, compliance, and community engagement to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and values-driven recovery services.

The Executive Director leads with empathy, accountability, and a trauma-informed lens, fostering a culture that supports recovery, staff wellbeing, and continuous improvement while aligning with RSG's mission, values, and strategic priorities.

Role Specific Accountabilities


Strategic & Operational Leadership

  • Provide executive leadership for the recovery community, ensuring alignment with RSG's mission, vision, and strategic objectives
  • Translate organizational strategy into site-level execution plans, priorities, and measurable outcomes
  • Ensure day-to-day operations are efficient, safe, and responsive to client needs
  • Identify opportunities for program enhancement, service expansion, and operational improvements
  • Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs

Program & Clinical Collaboration

  • Work collaboratively with clinical leadership and interdisciplinary teams to support high-quality, trauma-informed, recovery-oriented programming
  • Ensure programming reflects best practices in addiction recovery and person-centred care
  • Support the integration of continuing care, aftercare, and referral pathways where applicable
  • Monitor outcomes and quality indicators to drive program effectiveness

People Leadership & Culture

  • Lead, coach, and support directors and supervisors to build strong, accountable teams
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and psychologically safe workplace culture
  • Ensure effective recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and staff development in collaboration with RSG Human Resources
  • Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions
  • Address performance, attendance, and conduct matters consistently and in alignment with RSG policies

Compliance, Risk & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable licensing, accreditation, contractual, and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain readiness for audits, inspections, and accreditation reviews
  • Oversee incident management, risk mitigation, and continuous quality improvement processes
  • Ensure adherence to RSG policies, procedures, and professional standards

Financial & Resource Management

  • Manage site-level budgets in collaboration with RSG Finance
  • Monitor expenses, staffing levels, and resource utilization to ensure financial sustainability
  • Support forecasting, variance analysis, and cost-containment initiatives
  • Ensure responsible stewardship of organizational resources

Stakeholder & Community Engagement

  • Represent the recovery community professionally within the broader recovery, healthcare, and community ecosystem
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with referral partners, funders, and community stakeholders
  • Support collaboration across RSG subsidiaries to strengthen integrated care pathways
  • Act as an ambassador for RSG values and recovery-focused services


Qualifications

  • At least a bachelor's degree in health administration, business, public policy, psychology, social work, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5 or more years of progressive leadership experience in addictions/mental health, community services, or systems transformation
  • Extensive experience with the Therapeutic Community (TC) model, including senior leadership experience of bed-based/residential services as part of an integrated recovery-oriented system of care
  • Proven track record in executive leadership, operational excellence, and people management
  • Deep understanding of recovery-oriented systems of care and trauma-informed approaches
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and strategic thinking skills
  • Lived or living experience with recovery or mental health is considered an asset
  • Must be willing and able to travel to and work from all RSG sites
