Job description

Substation Engineer
Chicago, Illinois, USA Openings also in Houston, Dallas, Minneapolis, Kansas City, Austin, Atlanta, Chicago, Boston and Chattanooga
This role is for a Substation Engineer who will lead and support high-voltage substation design projects (up to 765kV), including physical layouts and protection & controls systems for major power infrastructure projects such as renewables, HVDC, and battery storage.
Main requirements include:
  • 5+ years of HV substation design experience
  • Strong experience in physical and/or protection & controls (P&C) design
  • Ability to lead projects and perform QA/QC reviews
  • Client coordination and technical leadership skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • PE license preferred
  • Experience with Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Office
