Job Responsibilities
As a Spa Coordinator, you will be the primary contact for a variety of guest services at the Front Desk, Reservation Room and Retail space.
Your specific duties in this role will include:
• Answer all incoming phone calls in a friendly, courteous and timely manner using the appropriate greeting.
• Schedule and confirm appointments for all spa/salon treatments; assist clients in selecting services.
• Perform check-in and check-out services for appointments; including greeting clients, taking coats, offering beverages and providing tours of sanctuary and locker room.
• Properly record all sales transactions and secure accurate payment.
• Manage client activity within SpaSoft system.
• Perform various accounting duties; i.e., credit card processing, room charges, gift card processing and activating.
• Perform opening and closing work per checklists.
• Promote retail sales of all spa products.
• Provide and maintain current information regarding spa staff, spa services, hours of operation, product lines, special events and promotions.
• Provide information pertaining to hours and available services of the Spa and hotel, i.e. restaurant, lounge, room service.
• Update Engineering department on any maintenance issues.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the Front Desk, Retail area, Reservation Room and surrounding areas.
Job Requirements
We are looking for a self-motivated Spa Coordinator with a strong work ethic and a drive to exceed expectations. It is also important that you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to establish rapport with guests and colleagues.
Specific qualifications for the role include:
• 1 to 3 month's related experience and/or training; High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Solid organizational, time-management and prioritization skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
