Engineering Services Coordinator
The Musco Product Development Team has an opening for a Engineering Services Coordinator in Oskaloosa, IA. The Engineering Services Coordinator supports accurate and timely product documentation by coordinating the review, approval, creation, and revision of engineering documents and bills of materials. This role helps ensure production teams have reliable information needed to build products correctly, implement product changes, and maintain alignment between engineering, manufacturing, and business requirements. Essential Criteria:
  • Minimum of associate's degree in drafting, design, configuration management, other related fields or relevant coursework
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering document control, coordinating with production, and approving documents for production in a company that develops and manufactures products
  • Proficient in engineering document control practices
  • Knowledge of basic mechanical, structural, electrical and electronic products and components
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of IntraLink, PDMLink, or other PDM systems
  • Knowledge of ANSI/ASME Y14.5 dimensioning and tolerancing standards
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills allowing collaboration with other team members/internal stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate documents and bill of materials in the MRP system
  • Maintain accurate build-to-order product configurator system
  • Coordinate the approval of engineering documents and bills of materials
  • Inform company personnel of product changes and change approvals through the approval of engineering documents and bills of materials
  • Check documents created by others for correctness and to assure that standard practices are being followed
  • Create new and revise existing documents and bills of materials
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
