CNC Mill Programmer/Machinist needed for a precision machine shop in Traverse City. One year minimum MasterCAM experience required. Experience with Haas VF-6 and 5-axis milling preferred. Experience with manual grinders a definite plus.
Pay is based on experience and proven skill at $22-$26 to start.
After 90 days: benefits, employer-matched 401(k), employee paid life insurance and uniform. After 6 months employees are eligible for paid vacation and PTO. Unlimited access for employees and family to onsite fitness center is included.
Must be able to program, create and modify during all phases of production. The programmers will machine components for first articles as well as production runs. The programmer/machinists will monitor quality by taking measurements, detecting malfunctions and troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming control while adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes and performing in-process inspections.
Qualifications
  • Experience with MasterCAM and AutoDesk Fusion 360 required
  • Set-up and operate CNC Mill
  • Prefer 3 years experience as a programmer/machinist in a manufacturing environment.
United Engineered Technologies offers a clean, temperature controlled working environment.
