Job Title: Associate Engineering Technician
Location: Portage, MI
Type: Contract
Compensation: $25-29/hour
Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 7am - 3:30pm
Overview:
Provides technical support to engineering activities by assisting with technical evaluations, documentation, root cause investigations, and implementation of established engineering procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to engineers and scientists on engineering and technical tasks.
- Develop and recommend technical procedures and methods following established guidelines.
- Prepare technical reports and engineering documentation.
- Perform technical evaluations to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Execute technical work in accordance with defined procedures and work instructions.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Recent college graduates with a focus in Engineering are accepted.
- Basic understanding of technical procedures and engineering work practices.
- Ability to follow established procedures and make decisions based on defined guidelines.
- Preferred: Experience in additive manufacturing.
