This role is ideal for a hands-on machinist who can program, set up, and run Swiss-style CNC lathes while maintaining tight tolerances and high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
โ€ข Program CNC Swiss machines using G-code and CAM (Mastercam, Esprit)
โ€ข Perform full setups (tooling, guide bushings, bar feeders)
โ€ข Interpret blueprints and GD&T
โ€ข Optimize cycle times and reduce scrap
โ€ข Operate machines and adjust offsets during production
โ€ข Perform in-process inspections (micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, comparators)
โ€ข Troubleshoot machining issues (tool wear, chatter, dimensional drift)
โ€ข Complete FAI, maintain inspection records, and ensure traceability
โ€ข Follow ISO/quality procedures
โ€ข Perform routine maintenance and support continuous improvement
Qualifications
โ€ข 3+ years CNC Swiss machining experience
โ€ข Strong G-code and GD&T knowledge
โ€ข Ability to hold tight tolerances (ยฑ.0005")
โ€ข Experience with brass, aluminum, stainless, and plastics
โ€ข Familiar with Star or Citizen Swiss machines, bar feeders, and live tooling
