We are looking for someone who is well rounded, possessing strong customer service experience and technical capability. This is an excellent opportunity to join a team that focuses on fostering relationships between our central Information Systems Team and other County departments. We offer the support and flexibility you need for personal development and professional growth.
Our team primarily supports custom, department-specific applications, along with enterprise-wide systems. We collaborate closely with the desktop, network and hardware support teams for projects and product implementations. Training will be provided for specific technologies, so prior experience is not as important as foundational knowledge and a willingness to learn. Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must. The ability to document and present technical processes to nontechnical audiences is an essential.
Beyond great interpersonal and customer service skills, the primary criteria for this position are strong fundamental technical knowledge, project management experience, and an eagerness to learn more specialized skills. Experience in justice-related systems such as computer-aided dispatch and body-worn cameras, SharePoint, Microsoft Power Platform, scripting, and programming are a plus!

Graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate's degree preferably in computer science, information technology, business administration, or a related field. Experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.
IS Analyst I:
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably with course work in computer science, information technology, business administration or a related field; or two years of course work in computer science, information technology, business or public administration or a related field plus two years of experience comparable to Nevada County's classification of Information Systems Analyst Trainee.
IS Analyst II: (in addition to the above)
Two years of experience at a level comparable to Nevada County's classification of Information Systems Analyst I.
