Job description

Program Manager
In this role you will partner with other Company stake holders to drive sustainable, uniform processes across all locations to deliver improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. The position will be directly responsible for attaining goals related to new processes and will gain value by providing experience and execution to implementation of new process lines, continuous improvement, and managing multiple workstreams
Responsibilities
  • Implement and deploy operational strategies across the Municipal Division Plants to meet revenue and operational targets.
  • Lead the development of a Lean/CI culture in the company with a foundation in employee training, engagement, and development.
  • Assure lean concepts and methodologies are center during the development of new operational value streams either in existing or new operations.
  • Partner with other stake holders in the development of quantitative and qualitative daily, weekly, monthly etc. metrics to gauge the health of operational initiatives.
  • Drive specific programs to meet workstream goals as assigned.
  • Position can be based out of Joliet, IL, Rockford, IL, or Monroe, WI location.
Qualifications
  • Strong bias towards working on the manufacturing floor, directly with manufacturing, engineering and other disciplines to root cause issues and implement sustainable reactions to issues.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing or truck production environment.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Operations/Industrial Engineering experience with a firm understanding of Six Sigma, 6S and other lean tools/methodologies
  • Experience leading production and savings initiatives.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree from an accredited four-year College or University with a preference in technical fields including Engineering, Mathematics etc.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time as required to drive initiatives across project locations.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems, with the ability to pull data as needed for analysis (e.g. costs, usage, supplier,
