Job Summary:

Centerpoint Medical Center is launching a new ACGME-accredited Emergency Medicine residency program in the Kansas City Metro.
Qualified Candidates:
  • Board-certified in emergency medicine 
  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience as physician core faculty OR associate program director OR department chair in an ACGME accredited Emergency Medicine residency program.
  • Ability to obtain Missouri licensure
  • Significant protected administrative time with shared institutional accountability for early accreditation milestones
  • Strong partnership with executive leadership and support from an established GME office
  • Clear alignment between clinical leadership and educational priorities
  • Leadership scope and compensation aligned with senior academic and institutional responsibility
Founding Emergency Medicine Program Director - 40%
  • Full founding authority over program design, curriculum philosophy, trainee experience, and program culture, including meaningful decisionโ€‘making input into early core faculty selection.
Assistant Designated Institutional Official (ADIO) - 40%
  • Enterpriseโ€‘level oversight of local GME programs, ACGME compliance, and institutional reviews, serving as a key delegate to the DIO
