Toddler Program Director
About the Role
Are you passionate about early childhood education and creating meaningful experiences for toddlers? Do you love building engaging curriculum, leading a team, and helping young children learn through movement, imagination, and play?
LAB is looking for a Toddler Program Director to build and lead an industry leading toddler movement program. This leadership role combines curriculum development, teaching, team leadership, and program management to create an exceptional experience for children ages 2–5 and their families.
Our program blends obstacle play, sensory exploration, music, movement, and structured learning to help children develop confidence, coordination, communication, independence, and a lifelong love of being active.
This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced preschool teacher, childcare leader, or early childhood educator who wants to take ownership of a growing program while making a lasting impact on children and families.
What You'll Do
- Lead engaging toddler classes focused on movement, learning, creativity, and play.
- Design, refine, and continuously improve curriculum, lesson plans, seasonal themes, and developmental progressions.
- Build, hire, onboard, train, coach, and develop a high-performing toddler coaching team.
- Manage employee performance, scheduling, accountability, and when necessary, disciplinary actions and terminations.
- Create a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment for children and families.
- Build strong relationships with parents through exceptional communication and customer service.
- Adapt activities to support children of varying ages, developmental stages, and abilities.
- Maintain high standards for cleanliness, organization, safety, and class quality.
- Assist with camps, birthday parties, community events, and special programming.
- Collaborate with leadership to grow enrollment, improve systems, and expand the toddler program.

Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in preschool, childcare, daycare, or early childhood education.
- Leadership or management experience preferred.
- Experience creating curriculum or educational lesson plans.
- Degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred.
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
Schedule
- Full-time position
- Weekday mornings, afternoons, evenings, and occasional weekends based on programming needs
- Consistent weekly availability required
Physical Requirements
- Actively participate in movement-based classes with young children.
- Stand, walk, kneel, bend, and sit on the floor throughout the day.
- Lift and move equipment up to 25 pounds.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, energetic environment.
