Victims Resource Center (VRC) is seeking an experienced and mission-driven Chief Program Officer (CPO) to provide strategic leadership for agency programs, grants, and staff. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CPO plays a critical role in ensuring high-quality services for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and other crimes while supporting the organization's growth and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight for agency programs, grants, and strategic initiatives.
- Identify funding opportunities and coordinate grant writing, reporting, and compliance activities.
- Monitor program performance, outcomes, and quality assurance efforts.
- Collaborate with agency leadership on strategic planning, budgeting, and organizational development.
- Support and supervise managers, fostering professional growth and accountability.
- Oversee staff and volunteer training initiatives, including advocate training.
- Represent VRC in community partnerships, public education efforts, and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Analyze program data and prepare reports to support decision-making and funding requirements.
- Participate in supervisory on-call hotline coverage.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in a discipline appropriate to a senior management position within a social service agency required.
- Minimum of two years of senior management and supervisory experience in social services.
- At least two years of grant writing and grant management experience.
- Demonstrated administrative, leadership, and supervisory experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively in individual, group, and public settings.
- Experience with strategic planning, program evaluation, and data-driven decision making preferred.
- Knowledge of victim services, domestic violence, sexual assault, or related fields strongly preferred.
