Job description

Program Manager/Knowledge Manager(s)Support

TheProgram Manager/Knowledge Manager(s)will provide enterprise level technical management analysis support that includes internal and external team engagements; monitoring and risk mitigation through DHA DAD IO/J6 Division activities; and infrastructure planning, for the successful advancement of AFMS requirements for EHR modernization and the AF/SG mission, as well as the support of Clinical Information Systems by accomplishing the following tasks in direct support of AFMS:


1.Leverage the required systems expertise (in qualifications below) to provide support for Information Management Information Technology (IMIT) manpower, schedule, budget and resourcing analysis.

2.Monitor technical hardware and network requirement lists, milestones, and calendar activity for the DAFs 76 MTFs. Manage and distribute information for these activities to the DAF CHIO and AFMEDCOM leadership.

3.Manage executive/team calendars, meetings and presentation preparations via Microsoft Teams and Office products. Arrange logistics and travel for team site visits of 2-5 people for military facilities.

4.Ensure timely monitoring of CHIO electronic mailboxes and notify CHIO team members of approaching MT deadlines.

5.Provide knowledge management expertise and support of Clinical Information Systems in accomplishing the following tasks in direct support of AFMS.

6.Evaluate and recommend changes to current and future knowledge management requirements to reconcile the needs of AFMEDCOM, DHA, and Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) standards. Provide recommendations and advice based on industry best practices.

7.Work with the primary divisions executing programs/applications/workflows in the use, maintenance, and standardization of knowledge management systems.

8.Assist in briefing senior AFMS leadership on knowledge management progress, issues, and challenges in development, administration, and optimize of the current and future knowledge management systems.

9.Assist with developing, maintaining, and optimization of knowledge management systems throughout the AFMS.

10.Independently apply knowledge and expertise to various project and program initiatives; investigate, analyze, plan, design, implement, or evaluate solutions for the project efforts as it directly impacts the AFMS.

Qualifications


    1. Bachelors degree in an IT, Healthcare, or Business-related area and eight (8) years of experience related to information technology, budgeting, strategic planning, risk management, and the Risk Management Framework (RMF)

    2.Five (5) years of experience managing medium scale (>10 sites) IT projects. A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundations certification can be substituted for two (2) of the five (5) years.

    3.Three years technical expertise using the following systems/applications: SharePoint web services for web-based design, enterprise service helpdesk.

    4.Experience with the following military specific systems is preferred: AFPortal, Health.mil, D2D.insights.health.mil, TMT, Service Now, and Knowledge Exchange.

    5.Certification required: Project Management Professional (PMP).

    6.Certifications preferred: Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundations, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), and Certified Knowledge Manager (CKM).
