POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Program Support Specialist II will provide experienced administrative and technical support to engineering, logistics, and program management activities in support of the NOAA. Working with minimal supervision, this position supports the effective execution of complex engineering and operational programs by assisting with coordination, documentation, reporting, and day-to-day program support functions. The Program Support Specialist II will contribute to the efficient planning, tracking, and execution of program activities across the system life cycle.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide administrative and technical support to engineering, logistics, and program management activities with minimal supervision.
  • Support coordination of meetings, schedules, action items, and program deliverables.
  • Prepare, maintain, and distribute program documentation and reports
  • Assist with project tracking, document control, and configuration management activities.
  • Support quality assurance, compliance, and continuous improvement efforts.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma
  • 4+ years of experience providing engineering, project, or administrative support functions.
  • Experience supporting technical or operational programs with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
