AnaVation is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Program Support Specialist to provide administrative and operational support located at Fort Belvoir, VA. The ideal candidate will be a versatile and organized individual capable of managing multiple tasks while ensuring the smooth execution of daily operations and special events. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to handle sensitive information, and a commitment to supporting the mission.
Responsibilities include:
  • Track, route, and monitor taskers; ensure deadlines are met; maintain accurate documentation and status updates.
  • Plan, schedule, and support meetings, ceremonies, briefings, and special events; manage logistics, materials, and on-site execution.
  • Coordinate and support engagements involving international partners; assist with scheduling, protocol considerations, documentation, and logistics for multinational meetings, visits, and collaborative events.
  • Perform a wide range of administrative duties, including monitoring deadlines, tracking action items, and ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks
  • Monitor and refine work products, processes, and workflows as necessary.
  • Proactively identify actions and provide accurate, professional assessments.
  • Research information and prepare reports and/or briefs.
  • Provide customer service tasks for senior leadership.

Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of related experience
  • Interim Secret Security Clearance
  • Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Strong customer focus
  • Proven ability to understand, process, prepare and track reports and processes
  • The ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Pro-active problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work across multiple organizations to identify and solve project challenges
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Role requires frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 10lbs and general mobility throughout the workday
  • Flexible hours on occasion (weekends or evenings depending on the event)
  • Occasional travel up to 25% (events, recruitment fairs)

Desired Qualifications:
  • BA/BS in a business-related field or an additional 2 years of related experience
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Previous experience in a program support or administrative role, preferably within a government or military environment
